Presidential Service Award
The VATA Presidential Service Award is an honor reserved for an individual or group in recognition of their service, contribution, or grassroots effort to the profession of athletic training. Through dedication, selflessness and hard work, their contribution has promoted not only the common mission of the Virginia Athletic Trainers' Association, but has influenced the patient population in which they serve.

Tom Jones Scholarship
This scholarship is open to a deserving student who has been admitted into and is in
the process of entering their first year of a CAATE-accredited athletic training professional program within the Commonwealth of Virginia. Applications should be postmarked by
April 1st.

Tom Jones Scholarship
Professional Development Scholarship
This scholarship will be awarded as a one-time scholarship to a deserving student currently enrolled in their final year at an in-state CAATE-accredited Athletic Training Program OR a graduate assistant certified athletic trainer who is in their final year of an in-state post-professional program. The money awarded will be used to assist the recipient in attending a professional development event that is outlined in the application packet. Applications are due: November 1st.

Memorial Scholarship
This grant is available to a deserving student in the final year of their professional athletic training program within the Commonwealth of Virginia. This student should represent the ideals of Tom Kuster with leadership, integrity,
professionalism, and compassion. This grant should be used to assist the recipient as they transition to practice (supplies, equipment, continuing education, etc.).
Complete applications are due no later than April 15th.

College/University Scholarship
This scholarship will be awarded as a one-time scholarship to a deserving college/university student who will be entering the final year of a CAATE-accredited athletic training program in the state of Virginia. Applications are due: November 1st.
