Cancellation and Refund Policy
Refund requests must be sent in writing to the VATA (vatameeting@gmail.com) and will be processed no later than eight (8) weeks after the last day of the meeting. Refunds will be issued in the same form as the payment received. VATA will offer a full refund of registration fees for requests submitted at least 30 days prior to the event. Refunds will be granted minus a $25 administrative fee for requests submitted less than 30 days prior to the event and up to two weeks after the event. No cancellations will be processed two weeks from the final day of the event.
Grievance Policy & Procedure
The VATA is committed to conducting all activities in strict conformance with accreditation agencies and boards. VATA will comply with all responsibilities to be nondiscriminatory in activities, program content and in treatment of participants. VATA will provide participants with the ability to raise any complaints or concerns they may have. While VATA attempts to assure fair treatment of all participants, we recognize grievances that may require intervention. Grievances are handled in the following manner:
When a participant files a grievance/complaint, the Annual Meeting and/or Education Committee will evaluate the nature of the complaint. If it is meritorious, the Annual Meeting and/or Education Committee will instruct the staff to implement any necessary changes in the course. The complainant will receive a response from the Annual Meeting and/or Education Committee or designated staff within 5 working days. Participants may file a complaint by email: vatameeting@gmail.com
