Robert Hammill, PhD, ATC, CSCS

Assistant Professor 
Bridgewater College


Robert Hammill did his undergraduate work at Wartburg College in Waverly, Iowa.  He got a Master of Arts degree in Exercise Science at the University of Northern Iowa and his PhD in Sports Medicine at the University of Virginia.  As a certified athletic trainer he has worked as an intern in the National Football League, as a full time employee with intercollegiate athletics, and as a pre-doctoral fellow working with high school athletics.  In addition, he has been employed in a private outpatient physical therapy setting both as a technician and as an athletic trainer. 

Robert, his wife Sara, and their children Jackson and Norah live in Penn Laird.
