Lauryn Keenon, MS, ATC
Assistant Athletic Trainer
James Madison University
Lauryn is currently an Assistant Athletic Trainer at James Madison
University, where she provides care for the women’s field hockey
program. She serves as the on-site drug testing coordinator for JMU
Athletics and is also a preceptor for the athletic training education program. After her internship at ESPN’s Wide World of Sports, she served as an athletic trainer for the West Virginia Chaos (PDL Soccer). Her previous experience also includes time at Stetson University and West Virginia University Institute of Technology.
Lauryn earned her BS in Athletic Training from Concord University along with a minor in Biology, then went on to receive her MS in Kinesiology from Georgia Southern University. She holds advanced certifications as a Corrective Exercise Specialist through the National Academy of Sports Medicine, Graston Technique M1, Personalized Blood Flow Restriction Rehabilitation and Orthopedic Dry Needling.
Originally from Belle, West Virginia, Lauryn currently resides in Staunton, Virginia.
