Not every crisis looks the same but The VATA has you covered. From catastrophic injuries, to finding balance between administrative demands and patient care an entire team is here for you. Virginia ATs Care is made up of athletic trainers from every employment setting in order to provide you with the right person who is sure to understand your situation and offer the best support. This is peer support designed for athletic trainers dealing with the aftermath of a critical incident.
What is a critical incident?
A critical incident is any unusually challenging event that overwhelms your usual coping mechanisms. This does not have to be a catastrophe but can simply be an overwhelming collection of smaller every day events.
