The Scholarship Committee was formed in 1994 and has awarded over $24,000 in scholarship monies to deserving students within the Commonwealth of Virginia. We believe in rewarding those students who have proven their dedication to athletic training and have been diligent in their pursuit of the education required for them to become part of the profession.

VATA SCHOLARSHIP COMMITTEE MISSION STATEMENT

The mission of the Virginia Athletic Trainers' Association Scholarship Committee is to promote and encourage athletic training education within the Commonwealth of Virginia at the undergraduate and graduate levels. This is accomplished through scholarships that reward deserving students in their pursuit of becoming part of the allied health profession of athletic training.
